The article, “Analysis of Appropriateness of Outpatient CT and MRI Referred From Primary Care Clinics at an Academic Medical Center: How Critical Is the Need for Improved Decision Support?” by Lehnert BE, Bree RL. Published in the March issue of the Journal (J Am Coll Radiol 2010;7:192-7). There is an error in the abstract (Results paragraph). The paragraph currently states:
Fifty-eight percent of the appropriate studies had positive results and affected subsequent management, whereas only 24% of inappropriate studies had positive results and affected management.
It should read: Fifty-eight percent of the appropriate studies had positive results and affected subsequent management, whereas only thirteen percent of inappropriate studies had positive results and affected management.
